Crafting for a Cause is our newest crafting initiative that utalises excess stock to create community fund-raising opportunities.
We’ll be offering various crafts (listed below) that can be booked in as a private event, where all proceeds go directly to an agreed upon charity.
Host a crafternoon that connects your community, and gives back to a meaningful cause.
For a little over a year we’ve been utalising the left over material on our bespoke MDF Magic Wands to cut out a bunch of brooches!
Echoing botanical shapes that have been illustrated in house, they’d make a great passive craft alongside a morning tea or a craft for those with limited mobility.
We’d suggest two per person so that they can design one for themselves, and someone important to them.
We have a huge collection of felt that was passed onto us from the crafting estate of Judy Atkins (a Seaford woman who dabbled in a huge amount of craft, which included felt hand puppets that she donated to kids in foster care!)
We want to keep Judy’s legacy thriving by using some of her felt to help raise funds for worthy causes; and there are so many things that can be made!
We love making felt ornaments, but hand puppets, needle felted crowns, Childrens toys, and so much more can be made from this material!
Pom Poms can be turned into headbands, wall hangings, characters, and so much more!
In this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to perfect your Pom Pom making skills before transforming them into a project of the organisers choosing.
You’ll have so many colours of wool to choose from, and can opt for a traditional or adaptive Pom Pom making method.
A really cosy craft in the colder months that can get quite addictive!
